Below are the offered areas of study: Trumpet Technique Develop instrument fundamentals via a routine centered on air/sound, slurring/flexibility, tonguing/articulation. -------------------------------- Jazz Improvisation Listen, transcribe, analyze in order to become an orator of the language of jazz---study historical jazz trumpet figures spanning from Louis Armstrong to present. -------------------------------- Jazz Composition Hone the building blocks of music: melody, harmony, rhythm. Analyze compositions written by the great jazz composers, and use this knowledge to help create your own musical pieces.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations, please reschedule 48H in advance; additionally, same-day cancellations or postponements will result in a $50 fee. That said, emergencies will be considered.
